Every spring, the UNC Kidney Center organizes a walk/run fundraiser for their research. I’ve had the opportunity to work with them every year since their inception and I always have fun figuring out where to put the next Carolina Blue anthropomorphised kidney.

His Portrait-Dex site compiles these efforts.

My entry combines my love for hiking with my terrible sense of direction, along with a revival of my dormant Latin verb conjugation skills.

She and her fiance were killed in the accident, but their four-year-old son, Eamon, survived. I made this comic as both an emotional response the the tragedy, and also as a fundraiser for a trust in Eamon’s name.

The cover is a two-color letterpress print, made at Boxcar Press, where Carrie worked. The story runs 32 pages and is printed in black and white.
